PERSONALITY
Cancer is the most diversified
character of the Zodiac, and might anything from shy and withdrawn to rather extrovert. But what you all have in common is
your conservative, traditional and home-loving nature. You feel strongly about maintaining the family bonds, and you are often
interested in genealogy. You are not unsociable, but you have a great urge to be alone sometimes. Outwards, you might seem
thick-skinned, insensitive, uncompromising, unshakable, single-minded, energetic, sly, intuitive, wise and philosophical.
But on the inside, you might be rather different – kind and compassionate, especially towards those who you are really
close to. You are emotional and imaginative and you are good at reading other people’s feelings. Often, you have an
all too lively imagination, and you have big romantic fantasy on life which you try to live up to.
You like art and literature,
and especially drama. You might also have large literary, artistic and rhetoric talents. And even though you might give an
impression of being down-to-earth, you are often interested in the supernatural.
You might be dishevelled,
grumpy, twisty and moody. Often you are self-pitying, and you might feel insulted even when there is really no reason. Sometimes
you might have violent outbreaks of rage, seemingly without reason. But you are also easily feeling flattered. You are ambitious,
although sometimes tactless and difficult.
PROFESSIONS
You are well suited for many
different professions, especially thanks to your excellent working spirit and devotion. You might be a skilful writer or journalist.
You might also be a politician, even if you as such prefer being in the background rather than in the spotlight. You might
work with helping and supporting other, for example in social care, nursing or delivery work. You might also be an excellent
cook. You might be a successful businessperson or industrial leader. You romantic side and your interest in history might
lead you into working in a second hand shop or as an expert on antiquities. But more commonly, you work as a broker, gardener
or seaman.
RELATIONSHIPS
In a relationship, you are
a mixture between hard and soft. You are loyal, emotional and romantic and you are very dependant on feeling safe. You are
very protective towards your loved ones. You love to give, and do not ask for much in return. You might, however, sometimes
be overly patriotic, and cold and suspicious towards outsiders.
You have a sharp memory,
especially when it comes to events involving strong feelings, which you might remember in detail many years later. Since you
are living so intensely in your memory and your imagination, old feelings might suddenly blossom anew if you meet someone
who once has meant a lot to you.
You are most compatible to
Taurus – This is most often an excellent combination.
You are both rather calm and caring, and both of you are housing a deep love of home and family.
Cancer – Your two similar personalities fit very
well together, and you house a lot of understanding towards each other, even though either part most of all would like to
follow one’s own personal traditions.
Leo – A very good combination of two very different
personalities. Leo might cheer up you heavy-hearted nature, and you have great patience with the moodiness of Leo. You gladly
let Leo be in the centre of attention, and to be in command – or at least believe to be so.
Scorpio – An ideal combination of two passionate
and dedicated personalities. A warning needs to be issued, however, for violent mood-changes and jealousy from both parts.
Capricorn – Even though you and Capricorn are each
other’s opposites, you do actually have a lot in common. Your understanding and compassionate nature fits excellently
with heavy-hearted Capricorn. You appreciate Capricorn’s never-ending strive, and you are happy to be in the background
as support.
Pisces – Your two emotional and changeable personalities
are ideal for each other. You are both very home-loving and romantic, and you both have a great need of feeling loved. Your
mutual understanding is close to absolute.
You are not as compatible to
Aries – This is most often a difficult combination.
You are all too moody and sentimental for Aries’s taste, which makes Aries easily loose its temper. You have got a hard
time standing Aries’s open and direct manners.
Gemini – Gemini want constant change, something
which is not very appreciated by your possessive and home-loving nature. Gemini is very easily getting irritated by you moodiness.
Virgo – Your quiet and inward nature has got a hard
time standing demanding, critical and pedantic Virgo.
Libra – You like the peace-loving and conflict-avoiding
side of Libra (which you also might use for personal gain), and Libra appreciates your loyalty and generosity. But freedom-loving
and extrovert Libra’s great demand for attention risks to be too much for you.
Sagittarius – You feel great admiration towards
Sagittarius – but still, this is not a good combination. Sagittarius is all too restless and freedom-loving for your
home-loving persona.
Aquarius – Aquarius is too independent for your
loving nature. Aquarius house a great need for freedom and friends, while for you, family always come first.

THE MYTH BEHIND THE SIGN
Hercules was the son of Jupiter
– the ruler of all gods, and of the mortal woman Alkmene. Jupiter’s wife Juno, was very jealous, and did whatever
she could to make it hard for Hercules. She put a spell on him, so that he in a stage of confusion killed his two children.
As a punishment for this act, the gods made him a servant of King Eurysteus in Mycenae,
who made him perform one seemingly impossible mission after another.
Hercules’s second mission
was to kill the multi-headed hydra, which was a dragon-like monster. For every head that Hercules cut off from the monster’s
body, two new ones grew out instead. And in the middle of this fierce battle, Juno sent a crab to distract Hercules. Hercules
however crushed the crab with his heal. And eventually, he could also defeat the hydra, with the help of his carriage driver
Iolaus, who with his torch hindered new heads from growing out of the hydra’s wounds.
